Daniel W. Kehr is a partner in Best Best & Krieger LLP’s Business practice group, where he provides corporate general counsel, technology, real estate, as well as trust, estate and succession planning legal services.
He represents entrepreneurs, privately owned businesses and high-net-worth individuals. Dan provides legal services for a variety of individuals, entrepreneurs, investors and businesses, including start-ups and mature companies, across a broad range of industries, such as technology, software, Internet, gaming, insurance, manufacturing, distribution, real estate and professional services. He handles a variety of complex business, real estate, cyberspace and estate matters, both foreign and domestic.

Dan founded and managed his own law firm, Kehr Law, for 12 years before joining BB&K. His experience as a business owner makes Dan uniquely suited to approach legal representation from the business owner’s perspective.
Dan grew up in Huntington Beach, Calif. He was an NCAA intercollegiate baseball athlete and received many honors for both his academic and athletic achievements. He completed his studies at California Western School of Law in two years, and passed the California bar exam while studying at the University of San Diego.
At age 8, Dan started his first business, “Dan’s Bird Farm,” where he bred and supplied exotic birds to the four local pet stores in Huntington Beach. Dan now enjoys spending time with his two boys, golfing, starting businesses, giving back to the community, feeding the homeless, traveling, watching sports and eating sushi.
